"Rules of the Road"
- Remember this is public so blog responsibly.
- You need to sign up for a Google account if you dont already have one. You can do this by going to www.google.com and in the top right corner click on the button "Sign In". This will take you to a page where you can sign up.
- After you get your account then come to this address http://chsustainability.blogspot.com.
- Committee Members can post on any topic as well as add links to other websites and blogs. If members are looking to post a New Idea (a topic other than one that is currently posted on the blog) then you can click on "New Post" in the top right corner of the screen. This will take you to a page that has a box for "Title" at the top, and a text box for you to type your "New Idea." If you just want to make a comment on a post that someone else has made then just click on "Comments" at the end of the existing post to make a comment.
- If you want to make a link then follow the same instructions as above, and when you have finished typing the address click on the word "Link" located on the tool bar above the text box. ex. http://www.ci.chapel-hill.nc.us/

We could start simply and confirm sustainable goals in the areas of shelter, food, health care and a cluster of human rights items.
A stab is:
A sustainable community is one in which every citizen enjoys shelter that meets basic health and life safety standards, is efficient in it's use of energy and is affordable to use and maintain.
A sustainable community is one in which every citizen has access to a basic healthy diet using foods that are grown and/or processed locally whenever possible.
A sustainable community is one in which every citizen enjoys access to basic health care.
